Job Description

Summary

Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Some evening or event-related availability may be required)


The Program Coordinator โ€“ Culture & Talent reports directly to the HR Director and supports initiatives that strengthen company culture, enhance employee engagement, and build a sustainable talent pipeline.

This role is responsible for coordinating and executing programs related to employee engagement, recruiting support, onboarding, and retention efforts. The Program Coordinator will work closely with leadership and employees in both office and field environments to help ensure culture and talent initiatives are effectively implemented and positively impact the organization.

Culture & Employee Engagement

  • Support the HR Director in implementing employee engagement and culture initiatives
  • Conduct regular visits to job sites and office locations to gather employee feedback and maintain visibility
  • Coordinate company events, employee recognition activities, and team-building initiatives
  • Assist in creating and distributing internal communications, including newsletters, updates, and announcements
  • Maintain employee communication platforms and ensure resources are up to date
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs and assist with award submissions
  • Gather employee feedback and provide insights to leadership regarding engagement opportunities

Recruiting & Talent Pipeline

  • Assist in maintaining recruiting pipelines for open roles across the organization
  • Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, and recruiting logistics
  • Support hiring managers with sourcing efforts and candidate follow-up
  • Help build partnerships with schools, trade programs, and community organizations to support recruiting efforts
  • Track recruiting activity and maintain hiring metrics such as time-to-fill and candidate flow
  • Support employer branding initiatives through social media updates, project highlights, and employee stories

Onboarding & Integration

  • Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure new hires feel welcomed and prepared
  • Manage welcome communications, orientation scheduling, and onboarding materials
  • Support 30-60-90 day follow-up processes for new employees
  • Identify onboarding gaps and communicate improvement opportunities to HR leadership

Retention

  • Assist in monitoring employee retention trends and gathering feedback from employees and leaders
  • Support development initiatives for employees through coordination of training or engagement efforts
  • Assist with succession planning efforts by maintaining relevant documentation and employee development information

Employee Lifecycle & Continuous Improvement

  • Coordinate exit interviews and maintain records of employee feedback
  • Track turnover trends and provide reports to HR leadership
  • Support continuous improvement of culture and talent programs through coordination, feedback collection, and process updates
