Grace REACH Program Coordinator Intern Job Description:
Grace REACH Team Purpose Statement:
To reach beyond the doors of the church to our community and world, sharing the message of the gospel, meeting a life need and extending the love of Christ. This team incorporates the 401 purposes while exposing everyone we come in contact with to the relevance and power of the gospel and church community in their life.
Grace REACH Program Coordinator Intern Purpose Statement:
The hope for our REACH Program Coordinator Intern is to provide hands on experience in ministry event planning, communications, and program coordination within a local church context. This paid internship is designed to develop practical skills in organization, leadership support, and creative communication while offering a well rounded understanding of outreach and ministry operations.

Grace REACH Program Coordinator Intern Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning and coordinating REACH events from concept to execution
  • Support communication efforts including email campaigns, social media content, and promotional materials
  • Create and design graphics using Canva for events and ministry initiatives
  • Assist with scheduling, logistics, and volunteer coordination
  • Support data tracking, reporting, and documentation using Microsoft Office tools
  • Help manage event registrations and communication follow up
  • Provide on site support at REACH events, including setup and breakdown
  • Promoting events on social media (writing captions, creating simple graphics through Canva)
  • Making phone calls and researching vendors (food, rentals, event needs, resources for those in need)
  • Helping with event setup, volunteer coordination, and greeting guests
  • Brainstorming and planning alongside the REACH team

What You'll Experience:
You'll be part of a fun, relational team and get to see people from all walks of life experience the love of Christ through creative outreach events. REACH events and ministries include: Our large Car Show and summer weekend Coffee Cruisers breakfasts, Backpack Drive, Food Drives, Refresh (School Support), Whiz Kids Tutoring, One By One Homeless Outreach, Operation Christmas Child, Christmas Festival, and more.
Position Requirements:
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and event details simultaneously
  • Experience with event planning or coordination, with the ability to anticipate needs and support execution from start to finish
  • Proficiency in Canva and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms and basic content creation for ministry or organizational use
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a heart for ministry and alignment with the mission and values of Grace and Forge
