Job description

This role combines operational leadership with handson responsibility for Cultureware Production and facility operations within a regulated biotech environment. The position plays a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and costeffective production conditions while continuously developing people, processes, and infrastructure in support of better health solutions.

This is an onsite role in our Asland, MA office.

What You Will Accomplish Together with Us:

  • Lead daily Cultureware Production operations and define production schedules aligned with cost, quality, and time targets
  • Oversee procurement of raw materials, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and maintenance of production machinery
  • Train, mentor, and support staff members to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations
  • Manage and maintain BioTech and manufacturing facility systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical infrastructure, and laboratory equipment, in compliance with strict Quality Control guidelines
  • Coordinate buildout and repurposing of laboratory space to support evolving company objectives
  • Serve as Vice Chairman of the Safety Committee, including instituting a Hazard Communication Policy and identifying and correcting safety deficiencies to OSHA standards
  • Conduct annual fire safety training and manage eye wash stations and safety showers across the facility
  • Reduce facility operating costs by optimizing contractor usage, performing repairs inhouse where appropriate, and promoting proper equipment use to minimize downtime

  • 5+ years of experience in Cultureware Production and Facilities Operations within a regulated manufacturing or biotech environment
  • OSHA 10 certification
