As a Supply Chain Management Development Program Associate within PNC's Finance and Realty Services organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.

Job Description
Become part of a growing and diverse team of high performing supply chain professionals. Associates are empowered to make real contributions while gaining practical experience. Associates have the expectation to work on cross-functional team projects, research best practices, recommend improvements and implement processes that contribute to the overall success of PNC's Supply Chain Management organization.
Associates will spend 12-months in the development program with three rotations each lasting four months in the following areas: Supply Chain Management Operations, Strategic Sourcing, and Enterprise Third Party Management. These areas will provide learning and experience around the entire Source to Settlement process including third party risk management, contract management and negotiation, procurement, and supplier automation and payment.
The purpose of the Supply Chain Management Development Program (SCMDP) is to provide a strong, diverse, early career talent pipeline for the Supply Chain Management team. The SCMDP accelerates development by recruiting great talent and providing them with a strong foundation through on-the-job learning, coaching and mentoring, and formal learning programs.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Preferred business relevant majors (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Business Management, Logistics, Business Law, Accounting, Finance), Minimum GPA 3.0.
  • Roles at this level are filled by recent university / college graduates with little or no professional experience but possessing relevant skills.

  • Performs or assists the core activities of the group by applying knowledge learned to drive business results (e.g., supplier risk reviews, supplier sourcing and negotiations, contract processing, supplier payment support, internal or external customer interaction, or supporting internal projects). Works under supervision and may have limited approval and/or exception authority.

  • Participates in social learning within the organization (e.g., identifies and networks with business representatives and peers, participates in mentoring, job shadowing and community outreach).

  • Participates in formal learning (e.g., classroom, web-based or virtual) and completes related activities and projects.

  • Supports the internal and external customer experience by providing excellent service at all times; takes accountability and ensures problem resolution.
