Job description

The Program Assistant provides essential administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of daily program activities. Key responsibilities include front-line client communication via phone coverage, maintaining consistent physical office presence, and offering general administrative assistance to program staff. The role supports compliance and documentation processes, including overseeing reminder systems, managing discharge communications, and handling survey tracking. Additionally, the Program Assistant provides administrative support to the psychiatric provider and ensures timely and accurate uploading of documentation into the electronic health record.
What you'll be doing
  • Scheduling client psychiatric appointments.
  • Responding to client inquiries via telephone in a timely and professional manner
  • Oversees the set-up, maintenance, and closure of client records, including all files needed for medical, Managed Care Organizations, and therapists. Responds to requests for release of records.
  • Assisting with other duties as assigned which may include but are not limited to: general administrative support to Renewal clients, Leadership, and staff; CURC review of documentation, exit surveys, sending and uploading electronic records, etc
