Job description

Crafco, Inc. has an opening for a Maintenance Supervisor at our manufacturing plant in Halls, TN.
Are you mechanically inclined? Do you know how to repair and maintain building, industrial, and/or manufacturing equipment and looking for a position with great pay with overtime opportunities? We're looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to manage the maintenance and upkeep of our manufacturing plant and its equipment in our Halls, TN facility.

Specific duties:
  • Responsible for inspecting and monitoring all assets for proper operation and mechanical condition. Supervise results of inspections and necessary actions.
  • Performing preventative maintenance as required and necessary emergency repairs as needed in a safe, professional manner.
  • Maintain a detailed equipment log identifying all repairs, inspections and the results of these repairs and inspections.
  • Conduct the plant preventative maintenance program in accordance with requirements of the program.
  • Assist in installation of new projects or upgrading projects.
  • Must be willing to work over time and various shifts when required.

Qualifications:
  • Trade School or an equivalent of 1-3 years trade school required
  • 3-5 years' experience in supervisory maintenance
  • Knowledge of general shop math, reading charts, tables and drawings, and use of job-related tools, gauges and instruments is needed.
  • A basic understanding of plumbing, heating, ventilation, electrical, and machine maintenance is required.
  • Working knowledge of pumps, motors, oil lines and automated equipment to include (servo motors, sensors, conveyors, and continuous equipment flow of a line run sealant manufacturing plant).
  • The physical ability to frequently lift and move material and objects averaging 25 to 60 pounds is needed and on occasion, over 60 pounds.
