Giant Steps day school is looking to hire Paraprofessionals. We are looking for energetic people who are interested in working with individuals on the autism spectrum to help them perform to the best of their abilities. Qualities of a successful candidate include a caring attitude, the desire to support students/participants to complete academic, life skills, social-emotional activities, and feel comfortable, as part of a team, in accompanying students/participants during community-based instruction. Paraprofessionals work alongside the classroom teacher to support the daily needs and IEP goals of their students. This is the perfect position to gain experience in the field of autism.
Full time and part time positions available in our day school and adult program
Full time hours - Monday - Friday 8am -3:30pm
