En tant qu’Assistant Surintendant, vous contribuerez à la construction de bâtiments remarquables, tout en bâtissant des relations durables avec nos employés, partenaires et clients, et en incarnant les valeurs fondamentales de Broccolini: Fierté et Passion, Collaboration, Intégrité et Esprit Entrepreneurial.


RESPONSABILITÉS

  • Assurer la liaison entre Surintendant et la main-d'œuvre spécialisée;
  • Tenir un journal de chantier quotidien en collaboration avec le Superviseur de Chantier;
  • Développer et entretenir des relations avec les sous-traitants, les clients et les consultants;
  • Réviser et fournir des commentaires sur l’échéancier MS Project;
  • Préparer et maintenir divers documents/communications de chantier avec le siège social et le chantier;
  • Collaborer étroitement avec l’équipe de terrain et l’équipe de projet afin de répondre aux exigences en matière de SST, performance, productivité, qualité et sécurité;
  • Coordonner les inspections municipales et/ou professionnelles;
  • Bien connaître les responsabilités et devoirs en matière de santé et sécurité;
  • Participer aux réunions de chantier, préparer les ordres du jour, rédiger les comptes rendus et les distribuer selon les directives;
  • Vérifier et documenter le nombre de travailleurs présents sur le chantier, les heures travaillées, ainsi que les matériaux et équipements loués;
  • Obtenir les besoins en main-d’œuvre du Surintendant et coordonner l’embauche des ouvriers lorsque requis;
  • Assigner les tâches quotidiennes aux ouvriers selon les instructions du Surintendant
  • Maintenir l’inventaire des matériaux requis et passer les commandes en conséquence;
  • S’assurer que les déficiences ou travaux non conformes soient corrigés et que le plus haut niveau de contrôle qualité soit maintenu.


EXIGENCES

  • Diplôme d’études secondaires ou diplôme postsecondaire en ingénierie, en architecture ou dans un domaine équivalent;
  • Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience dans un rôle similaire;
  • Excellente connaissance du domaine de la construction;
  • Compétences exceptionnelles en communication;
  • Forte capacité d’organisation;
  • Capacité à respecter les délais, à bien gérer son temps et à évoluer dans un environnement dynamique;
  • Maîtrise de la suite MS Office et aisance avec divers logiciels informatiques.

We are looking for an Assistant Superintendent to join our Montreal Construction team!  As an Assistant Superintendent, you will assist in the development and build of remarkable buildings, fostering enduring relationships with our people, partners, and clients while maintaining the Broccolini core values, Pride and Passion, Collaboration, Integrity, and Entrepreneurial Spirit.


RESPONSABILITIES

  • Act as the liaison between the Site Superintendent and trade labor force;
  • Maintain daily construction log in conjunction with the Site Superintendent;
  • Develop and manage trade, client, and consultant relationships
  • Review / provide input on MS Project schedule
  • Prepare and maintain various site communication/documentation with head office and site;
  • Consistently collaborate with the field staff and the project team to ensure that HSE, performance, productivity, and quality, and safety
    requirements are met.
  • Coordinate with municipal inspections and/or professional inspections;
  • Maintain familiarity with Health & Safety responsibilities and duties;
  • Attend and participate in site meetings, prepare meeting agendas, record meeting minutes and prepare for distribution as directed;
  • Verify / document daily onsite worker count, man hours, and materials and rental equipment.
  • Obtain labor requirements from Site Superintendent and coordinate to sign on laborers when required;
  • Allocate tasks to laborers daily according to the Site Superintendent’s instructions;
  • Maintain inventory of required materials and place order accordingly;
  • Ensure that deficiencies are nonconforming work is addressed, and that the highest level of quality control is maintained.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • A high school diploma or post-secondary diploma in Engineering, Architecture or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of the construction field
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Above-average organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, to manage time effectively and to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office software; Tech-savvy with various computer software’s
