Are you detailed-oriented, organized and dependable? Wake County is seeking a Finance Program Assistantย to support daily financial operations that help our programs serve youth and families effectively.

This position plays a key operational role in ensuring invoices, purchasing, deposits and reporting are processed accurately and on time.ย  It also includes providing general office coverage and administrative support as part of the Administrative Support Team.

EssentialFunctions:

  • Processes invoices and reimbursement requests accurately and timely
  • Maintains purchasing trackers and monitors expenditures.
  • Prepares requisitions, purchases orders, and receives purchases
  • Completes bank deposits and assists with reconciliations
  • Assists with monthly, quarterly, and fiscal reporting requirements
  • Maintains organized financial records and documentation
  • Provides day-to-day financial administrative operational support
  • Assists with general office coverage, including reception, filing, and team support as needed
  • Collaborates with the Administrative Support Team to ensure smooth office operations.
