JOB DESCRIPTION

As Assistant Manager with Tim Hortons, you have an ownership mentality. Your role is to lead your Team to deliver operational excellence in all aspects of the business including customer service, employee management, and operational results.


All Managers set the tone and lead by example. You are expected to be friendly and active, running the floor and setting the standard for operations and exceptional customer service. Ability to multitask is a must.


Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering exceptional Customer Service
  • Managing daily routines for consistency and operational excellence
  • Training & coaching Team Members
  • Managing labour through effective floor management
  • Controlling food & paper costs
  • Resolving Guest issues


Availability:

This Assistant Manager will be primary focused on afternoon and evening operations. Must be flexible as your work schedule may vary based upon the business needs while fostering work/life balance.


Physical Demands include:

  • Walking and standing for long periods of time
  • Able to lift and carry up to 20 kg / 45 lbs
  • Able to help as needed in receiving large deliveries
  • Able to transition between cold (e.g. freezer) and hot (e.g. oven) working environments
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high fast-paced environment adhering to tight deadlines

REQUIREMENTS
  • 2+ years of quick service restaurant management experience
  • Drive thru experience required
  • Tim Hortons experience an asset
  • Ability to stay on feet for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs
