The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

SPA's Strategic Division's Regional Strike System Group (RSSG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering, Systems Safety, Modelling, Master Scheduling, and Financial Analysis support. RSSG is immediately hiring for a Program Analyst in the Washington, DC area supporting the Nuclear-Armed Sea-Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM-N) program, an ACAT-1D program.

Responsibilities

The Program Analyst will be responsible for conducting program analysis and planning with a focus on Risk Management, Decision Management, & System Engineering Technical Review (SETR) events. The Program Analyst will gather and disseminate information, facilitate client engagements, develop and maintain planning tools, prepare artifacts and presentations, and present results to stakeholders throughout the client organization. The Program Analyst will collaborate with engineers, technical leads, business staff, subcontractors, and customers to ensure program objectives are met on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to work at Maritime Plaza Office up to 5 days a week.
  • U.S. citizen with active DoD Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance while employed with SPA.
  • 2-5 years of professional experience.
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in STEM).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment conducting analysis with uncertainties or incomplete data.

Desired Qualifications:ย 

  • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance and ability to maintain.
  • Experience working with DoD acquisition programs.
  • Experience presenting to and communicating with senior leadership.
  • Experience conducting System Engineering Technical Review (SETR) events and supporting technical planning.
  • Experience executing Risk Management and/or Decision Management processes.
