Overview

i3 is seeking a Data Visualization Application Administrator. The Data Visualization Application Administrator will perform application administration and maintenance, and support data visualization tools throughout the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide innovative, accurate and timely data reporting and/or dashboard solutions according to customer defined requirements.
  • Perform requirements management (document, analyze, validate, trace, prioritize, change control, and communicate to stakeholders), to define and an authoritative data source from which to establish the reporting and/or dashboard solution.
  • Perform application administration and maintenance, and support data visualization tools (i.e. PowerBI, Qlik Sense, NPringing and GeoAnalystics).
  • Perform administration, maintenance, and application upgrades as required.
  • Coordinate with the applications support contractor to ensure the client application is upgraded in conjunction with any application upgrades or move to the cloud.
  • Administer and maintain streams and apps and the associated application security rules.
  • Upgrade the application or move to the cloud as required and move any associated data or streams to the new environment once complete.
  • Advise on relevant application capabilities and best practice solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Maintain and adapt the Data Visualization Information Site to best support the needs of the user community.
  • Maintain the currency of program email distribution groups.
  • Develop and release, in coordination with the government, new bulletins that provide the community with guidance on changes to key program processes, tips and tricks, etc. and notices of upcoming program events.
Qualifications
  • BS and 0-10 years of relevant experience preferred
  • DoD 8570.01-M/8140 Compliant
  • SharePoint Online experience required
  • SharePoint migration experience required
  • .NET, C#, and SQL experience a plus
  • Hands-on experience of application development using API, Web Services, Workflows (SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio), Web Parts, and InfoPath heavily desired
  • Ability to work with little or no direct supervision and in a team environment
  • Security Clearance: Secret level required up to Top Secret  
  • Live within 75-mile radius of Redstone Arsenal

  • Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
