Connected Logistics is seeking Senior SAP Application Administrator to support DLA's Information Operations J62FG. This program is responsible for the application development and sustainment of several identity-related programs in Legacy AMPS. J62FG is also responsible for supporting applications that are migrating from Legacy AMPS to DOW E-ICAM.


The Senior SAP Application Administrator plays a key role on the project team taking on responsibilities to include serving as the technical point of contact for large scale and scope projects, running small projects, managing and reviewing work of basic level application administrators, driving analysis and process finalization, resolving process and technical issues.


Key Responsibilities:


The senior level application administrators carry out all the SAP related tasks listed below, in addition to more complex tasks requiring additional experience.

  • Responsible for configuring, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting the SAP technical environment as well as scheduling and executing the SAP transport system.
  • Collaborate to resolve SAP transport and source code problems.
  • Responsible for the installation, upgrade and maintenance of SAP systems and ancillary components.
  • Evaluates and design of interfaces between SAP and external systems.
  • Maintains the SAP Data Dictionary and database objects.
  • Manages the migration of SAP database and application configuration into production as well as analyze, develop and maintain data architectures/process models within SAP.
  • Generates documentation for and updates to the existing SAP environment and work with IT and business units to modernize the SAP environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess excellent analytical and writing skills
  • Possess Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.) knowledge.
  • Possess experience working with DoD/DLA.
Requirements:


  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Possess six (6) years of industry or functional skills.
  • Possess three (3) years to Six (6) years of SAP experience.
  • Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at time of proposal submission.
