Job description

Ready to be pushed beyond what you think you're capable of?

At HSP Direct, our mission is to elect conservative leaders and advance causes that defend freedom. We do this by building best-in-class fundraising programs for political and non-profit organizations across the country.

This is not a passive role. This is not a maintenance role.

We are seeking a driven, strategic Account Manager who wants to operate at a high level - someone who thrives on responsibility, leads from the front, and runs toward ambitious fundraising goals.

Our clients trust us with their missions. We expect you to treat that responsibility with urgency, intensity, and ownership.

Our culture is performance-oriented and fast-paced. It isn't for everyone. But if you want to work alongside sharp operators who expect excellence - and demand it of themselves - there's no better place to build your career.

This is a full-time, in-office position in Ashburn, VA. Remote work is not available.

What you'll be doing (ie. job responsibilities):

Own the client relationship.

Act as the strategic lead for your political and nonprofit accounts, building deep trust and becoming an indispensable advisor.

Drive fundraising strategy.

Develop and execute annual and election-cycle program strategies designed to achieve - and exceed - client revenue goals.

Lead internal teams to win.

Mobilize copywriters, designers, production teams, and data specialists to execute high-performing fundraising campaigns.

Operate with urgency and foresight.

Monitor performance against goals, anticipate risks, solve problems before they escalate, and pivot strategy when necessary.

Champion data-driven performance.

Continuously test, analyze, and optimize fundraising efforts to improve ROI and long-term growth.

Raise the bar.

Inspire clients and teammates alike to think bigger, execute sharper, and pursue better outcomes.

What we look for in you (ie. qualifications):

  • Passion for conservative politics and advancing client missions
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, fundraising, advertising, nonprofit work, or politics
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-trust relationships
  • Strong analytical instincts and comfort working with performance data
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently while holding yourself to a high performance standard
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

What sets you apart:

  • You don't wait to be told what to do - you anticipate what needs to happen.
  • You are goal-obsessed and results-oriented.
  • You are persuasive and confident in high-stakes conversations.
  • You embrace accountability.
  • You are energized by pressure and responsibility.

About HSP Direct

HSP Direct is a full-service direct mail fundraising agency offering digital fundraising, production services, graphic design, and list/data services through our affiliated companies. We serve over 100 political and nonprofit clients nationwide and are committed to advancing conservative causes.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Generous PTO and holidays
  • Annual staff events and company goal trips
  • Onsite fitness center
  • MAHA-approved snacks and drinks

If you're ready to take ownership of meaningful accounts, lead ambitious programs, and grow in a performance-driven environment, we want to hear from you.

Please apply with a cover letter, resume, and salary requirements. (Cover letter required.)

Employment Eligibility

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. HSP Direct will not sponsor work visas.

Employment Type: FULL_TIME
