Position: Registered Nurse - Cardiac Med/Surg - Nights

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at a top medical facility in Panama City, FL. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the cardiac med/surg unit during night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients

- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and post-discharge care

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures

- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Qualifications:

- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cardiac med/surg unit

- Must have a minimum education of an Associate of Nursing Degree.

- BLS and ACLS certifications

- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiac conditions and treatments

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as needed
