Progeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team in Shenandoah, VA. As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients in need of urgent medical attention.

Responsibilities:

- Assess and triage patients upon arrival to the Emergency Department

- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and medical history

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to create and implement patient care plans

- Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations

- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families

- Document all care provided in an accurate and timely manner

- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Virginia

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Emergency Department setting

- BLS and ACLS certifications

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to remain calm and work efficiently in high-stress situations

- Knowledge of electronic medical record systems

- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
