As a member of the team, you'll have the opportunity to work with a group of highly skilled engineers and scientists to bring new experiences to Apple products.This position requires a self-motivated robotics engineer with strong technical and interpersonal skills to handle responsibilities including:
MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or related field with 5+ years of experience in Robotics Strong software engineering background Ability to break down large features and implement practical solutions Curiosity about new technologies, flexibility, and openness to ambiguity Proficiency with modern ML approaches (LLMs/VLMs, Diffusion Models, etc.)
Strong proficiency with models of human behavior (e.g. noisily rational decision making, legible motion, etc.) Experience conducting human-robot interaction experiments Strong proficiency with classical robotic algorithms (optimization, graph search, etc.) Familiarity with the full robotics stack (controls, perception, motion planning, etc.) Familiarity with Swift and Apple developer tools
