Job Overview

South Shore Tree Removal Inc. is looking for a skilled Tree Climber to join our field operations team. In this role, you'll be performing crane-assisted tree removals along with occasional pruning and hand climbing for removals. The ideal candidate is a motivated, dependable professional with hands-on experience and a strong commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities
  • Execute crane-assisted tree removals safely and efficiently
  • Perform advanced tree climbing and rigging for pruning and removals
  • Use chainsaws, hand tools, and rigging equipment to complete jobs
  • Perform daily chainsaw maintenance and inspection of climbing and rigging gear
  • Follow all safety procedures and use situational awareness
  • Support ground crew with cleanup, hauling, and site management as needed
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure jobsite success

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional tree climbing experience
  • Experience with crane-assisted tree removals
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and reliable transportation
  • Strong knowledge of chainsaw operation, maintenance, and safety
  • Punctual, dependable, and works well within a team environment
  • Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications:
  • CDL License
  • Hoisting License (2A or 1B)
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Own climbing gear
