We are hiring Tree Climbers at all experience levels to join our growing Arbor Division. Whether you are an entry-level climber looking to build your skills or an experienced production climber ready to lead complex work, this role offers clear growth paths, professional training, and steady work with a safety-driven team.
This position performs aerial tree work including pruning, removals, and rigging operations while working closely with ground crews and crew leadership to deliver high-quality, safe tree care services.
What You'll Do
  • Perform aerial tree pruning and removals using approved climbing systems (MRS / SRS)
  • Operate chainsaws safely in the canopy and on the ground
  • Set and manage rigging systems appropriate to experience level
  • Conduct pre-job inspections of climbing gear and life-support systems
  • Communicate clearly with ground crew during cutting and rigging operations
  • Assist with jobsite setup, cleanup, and hazard control
  • Follow ANSI Z133 safety standards and company policies at all times
  • Support crew productivity, safety culture, and client satisfaction

Entry-Level / Developing Climbers
  • Basic climbing and pruning under supervision
  • Learning proper tie-in points, knots, and climbing systems
  • Supporting production and ground operations

Intermediate Climbers
  • Independent climbing in medium to large trees
  • Aerial chainsaw operation and moderate rigging
  • Assisting with job planning and mentoring junior climbers

Lead / Production Climbers
  • Complex removals and advanced rigging
  • Leading aerial operations on site
  • Mentoring climbers and supporting crew leadership

  • ISA Certified Arborist or working toward certification
