Job description

Ultrasound Technologist (Breast Imaging)

Location: The Woodlands, TX

Pay Rate: Starting at $45.00/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with rotating early and late shifts)

Dean's Professional Services is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Breast Imaging to join a high-performing healthcare team in The Woodlands, TX. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with strong procedural experience who is passionate about delivering accurate, high-quality diagnostic imaging in a patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

- Perform breast ultrasound exams to support physician diagnosis and treatment planning

- Assist with and perform specialized procedures including wire localizations, Savi Scout placements, and biopsies

- Ensure proper patient positioning, comfort, and safety throughout all imaging procedures

- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure timely and accurate imaging results

- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system

- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols

- Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment and exam rooms

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED (required)

- Minimum 2 years of breast ultrasound experience (required)

- Hands-on experience with breast procedures including biopsies, wire localization, and Savi placements (required)

- Proficiency with Epic or similar EMR systems (preferred)

- Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and breast anatomy

- Excellent communication, patient care, and organizational skills
