Sales Representative

Are you a relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys getting out into the community, meeting new people, and turning conversations into opportunities?

We're looking for a motivated Sales Representative to help grow our presence across assigned communities. This is a hands-on sales role where you'll build relationships with residents, homebuilders, real estate professionals, and community partners while introducing customers to high-speed fiber internet and natural gas services.

If you thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented sales environment and enjoy a mix of prospecting, relationship building, community events, and closing business, this could be a great next step.

What You'll Do

As a Sales Representative, you'll own sales activity within your assigned communities and serve as a key point of contact for prospective customers and local partners.

You will:

  • Generate new sales through prospecting, networking, referrals, community outreach, and relationship building.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with homebuilders, real estate professionals, residents, and community partners.
  • Educate prospective customers on available fiber internet and natural gas services, including features, benefits, pricing, and service options.
  • Conduct community events, presentations, meetings, and other outreach activities designed to increase awareness and generate new customers.
  • Maintain consistent sales and call activity while working toward monthly and quarterly sales goals.
  • Gather sales projections and anticipated closing timelines from builders to help forecast future customer demand.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales performance and increase customer capture rates within assigned communities.
  • Manage leads, sales activity, follow-ups, and customer interactions through CRM platforms such as HubSpot and Salesforce.
  • Maintain timely communication with prospective customers throughout the sales process and through service activation.
  • Partner with marketing, operations, and dispatch teams to create a smooth experience for new customers.
  • Stay informed about competitor offerings and local market trends to effectively position services.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year of experience in sales, customer service, business development, account management, or another customer-facing role.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to assigned communities and events.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed for community events and closings.

Even Better If You Have

  • Comfortable using CRM and sales tracking systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Experience working with residents, homebuilders, real estate professionals, or community partners.
