Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, full-time, fully remote

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Clinical Reviewer to join our team supporting a respected non-profit healthcare organization in New York. Why You'll Love Working Here:
  • Competitive pay at $50/hour.
  • 1 week paid vacation after 3 months (2 weeks starting your second year).
  • 6 major paid holidays per year.
  • 5 sick days (40 hours), per the NYS Paid Sick Leave Act.
  • License reimbursement after 1 year.
  • Health insurance (subject to plan eligibility).
  • 401(k) match eligibility after 1 year.
  • Additional benefits including Payactiv (earned wage access).
  • Strong culture and retention — 93% of our team stays 2+ years.
  • Fully remote with a consistent Sunday–Thursday schedule.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Active New York State RN license.
  • 1–3 years of experience in acute care utilization review / appeals.
  • Comfortable working on a computer; familiar with Outlook, spreadsheets, and Word.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct utilization reviews up to and including the appeal level — chart screening, completing electronic worksheets, entering required information, and making level-one denial decisions when necessary.
  • Conduct quality and clinical study data collection reviews, including chart review and detailed electronic data worksheets.
  • Serve as a resource to administrative staff for training, problem-solving, and clarifying procedures; provide technical assistance and participate in staff huddles.
  • Participate in collaborative training specific to clinical study objectives.
  • Other duties as needed.
