Job Description:

HPE is seeking a Public Relations Manager for Product and Solutions Communications. This role sits at the center of some of the most important technology shifts in the industry. As PR Manager, you will help shape and amplify HPE's story across networking, hybrid cloud, software and AI, driving high-impact communications programs that showcase our innovation, market leadership and differentiated strategy. Working across two of HPE's fastest-growing businesses, you will lead product news announcements, develop compelling narratives, secure and staff executive media engagements, and build trusted relationships with influential journalists.


This is a unique opportunity to help define how the market understands HPE's transformation and growth. You'll play a key role in highlighting HPE's leadership in networking following the company's landmark $14 billion acquisition of Juniper Networks, while showcasing our momentum as an industry leader in wired and wireless networking and AI data center networking. At the same time, you'll help tell the story of HPE's leadership in hybrid cloud, storage, private cloud and software, bringing to life how customers are using HPE technologies to accelerate innovation, modernize operations and unlock the value of AI. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller, strategic thinker and media relations professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating authentic, credible conversations that elevate HPE's position, differentiate HPE from competitors and reinforce the company's role as a trusted technology leader.

This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, drive and evaluate key PR strategies and programs in support of business objectives.
  • Prepare news and launch activities, including coordinating media and analyst interviews, tours, events, generating releases, presentations and other materials as appropriate.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media, analysts and industry leaders (pan-regional, business and trade press and analysts).
  • Provide media and spokesperson training for key execs and sales leadership as needed.
  • Manage and develop productive agency partnerships.
  • Functional budget management.

Education and Experience Required:

  • BA or BS in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration.
  • 5+ years of experience in PR, AR marketing or communications.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced writing and editing skills -very minimal peer or manager edits needed.
  • Strong oral communications skills; ability to think on feet.
  • Ability to take complex concepts and messages and transform into an audience- resonating story.
  • Experience and desire to use AI to advance all stages of PR process.
  • Aptitude to learn and understand technical subjects including enterprise networking and security, as well hybrid cloud including data storage and protection, private cloud, and observability.
  • Organization and program management skills.
  • Ability to link PR plans and activities to business results.
  • Proven analytic skills (measurement, ROI).
  • Comfortable as a spokesperson for the company.
  • Fluency in local language and English.
  • High levels of tact and diplomacy.
  • Agency and budget management.
