Job description

Territory: Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW)

Full-Time | Base Salary + Uncapped Commission

Help Design Spaces Where Communities Come Together

For more than 35 years, our company has helped schools, municipalities, churches, and communities create safe, inspiring playgrounds and recreational spaces.

Our sales consultants work directly with clients to design, plan, and deliver projects that make a lasting impact on communities.

We are seeking an Outside Sales Consultant to develop new business opportunities and manage projects throughout the sales cycle within the Dallas–Fort Worth territory.

This role is ideal for someone with construction or building materials sales experience who enjoys managing projects, developing relationships, and working independently in the field.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to grow market share

  • Identify and pursue new opportunities with schools, municipalities, HOAs, churches, and developers

  • Conduct site visits and playground surveys to assess project requirements

  • Interpret architectural plans, specifications, and bid documents

  • Prepare estimates, proposals, and project designs

  • Present project concepts and solutions to clients

  • Manage projects through the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close

  • Maintain a structured pipeline and CRM records

  • Collaborate with internal design and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery

  • Build long-term client relationships within your territory

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of outside sales experience

  • Experience in construction, building materials, architecture, recreation equipment, or related industries preferred

  • Ability to read construction plans and specifications

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory independently

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Travel
  • Approximately 50–70% local travel within the DFW territory

  • Minimal overnight travel

Compensation
  • Base salary + uncapped commission

  • First-year expected earnings typically range from $45,000–$70,000

  • Experienced consultants often earn $100,000+ annually
