They work in various industries such as fashion, advertising, and entertainment, often appearing in magazines, advertisements, runway shows, and online campaigns. Professional models are expected to maintain a certain appearance, follow industry standards, and collaborate with photographers, designers, and creative directors to achieve the desired results. Their work requires adaptability, confidence, and the ability to express different emotions or styles as needed by clients.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a professional model?

To thrive as a Professional Model, you need a strong portfolio, an understanding of posing and movement, and the ability to take direction, often supported by agency representation or experience. Fit Model

Job description

About nuuds
About nuuds nuuds exists to make millennial women feel confident in what they wear and to make their lives easier. We serve women who feel uncomfortable in their skin and want to feel good again. We create confidence through perfectly-fitted clothing that makes millennial women feel incredible, building a sustainable, profitable business driven by customer obsession and operational excellence.
The Opportunity
At nuuds, fit isn't an afterthought - it's everything. We're looking for a size small fit model to work closely with our design team and help ensure every piece we make feels just as good as it looks.

You'll be a key part of our process - showing up consistently, trying on garments across categories, and giving the kind of candid, specific feedback that shapes what we build. This is a women's apparel role open to female applicants 18 and older who are comfortable being fitted across all garment categories, including lingerie and swimwear, as a standard part of the work.
What You'll Do
  • Attend scheduled fittings twice a week, approximately 1-2 hours each, held mid-morning at our Dallas office.
  • Try on a rotating range of garments, including lingerie, swimwear, and everyday styles, across various stages of the design process, from early samples to final fits.
  • Provide clear, detailed feedback on fit, comfort, mobility, and sizing, helping the design team identify adjustments before production.
What You Bring
  • You're consistent, professional, and genuinely detail-oriented - the kind of person who notices when something is slightly off and can articulate why.
  • You fit a size small, with measurements that fall within our sample size range and remain stable and consistent throughout the engagement:
    • Height: 5'3"-5'6"
    • Bust: 33" 1"
    • Waist: 26" 1"
    • Hip: 38" 1" Thigh: 21" 1"
  • You're comfortable and at ease being fitted in lingerie and swimwear.
  • Your schedule allows for consistent mid-morning availability twice a week - reliability here is everything.
  • A background in fashion, merchandising, or theater is a bonus, but what we really value is someone who's curious, communicative, and takes the work seriously
  • Fitting photos are for internal design and production review only
  • This is a live fit model role - consistency and honest feedback matter more than posing or prior modeling experience.
  • Final selection includes an in-person go-see at our Dallas office before hiring.
