Kihei, HI

Job description

The Opportunity

ProBuilt Hawaii is a locally backed, fast-growing home services company with ambitious plans for expansion across Hawaii.

We’ve built a strong foundation, and we’re also at a stage where we’re continuing to sharpen our sales process, strengthen our systems, and learn what it takes to scale successfully in our market. That’s part of the opportunity.

We’re looking for high-performing sales professionals who want more than a seat in an established machine. We want people who are excited to sell, compete, earn, and help build something that gets better as we grow.

You’ll run in-home consultations with homeowners across Oahu, supported by company-generated opportunities while also building your own referral network and community presence. You’ll have a sales playbook, training, coaching, and leadership support—but you’ll also be expected to bring initiative, adaptability, and ideas to the table.

This is a performance-driven sales role with significant income potential for people who know how to build relationships, earn trust, identify opportunities, and close.

No roofing experience required. We can teach the technical side. We’re looking for the sales ability, competitive drive, and coachability that are much harder to teach.

How Your Pipeline Works

Our marketing efforts generate homeowner opportunities and scheduled consultations so you can spend meaningful time in the field selling. Lead volume can fluctuate as we continue to grow and optimize our marketing engine, so successful reps know how to maximize every opportunity they receive.

Self-Generated Pipeline

The strongest reps don’t rely on one source of business.

You’ll be expected to develop referrals, build relationships in the community, create repeatable sources of new business, and turn great customer experiences into future opportunities.

The goal is to build a pipeline you can influence—not simply wait for your calendar to fill.

What You'll Do

  • Run in-home consultations with homeowners across Oahu
  • Conduct thorough home assessments and present solutions based on each homeowner’s needs
  • Build trust, educate customers, handle objections, and guide homeowners through the decision and contract process
  • Follow up consistently with prospects and maintain ownership of your pipeline
  • Actively generate referrals and new business through customer and community relationships
  • Track your activity, opportunities, close rates, and overall sales performance
  • Use our sales process and tools consistently while providing feedback that helps us improve them
  • Participate in coaching, training, ride-alongs, and ongoing sales development
  • Collaborate with production and project teams to create an excellent customer experience from sale through completion
  • Represent ProBuilt Hawaii with professionalism and integrity in every homeowner interaction

What Makes Our Top Reps Successful

They earn trust.Homeowners are inviting you into their homes and making significant financial decisions. Genuine connection, credibility, and follow-through matter.

They own their pipeline.Company-generated opportunities are one part of the equation. Strong performers create additional opportunities through referrals, relationships, follow-up, and community presence.

They know their numbers. They track performance, understand where deals are won and lost, and use the scoreboard to get better.

They compete without cutting corners. They want to win, but they understand that long-term success comes from doing right by the customer and the team.

They are coachable. The best performers use coaching. They ask questions, study their misses, practice, adjust, and come back better.

They can operate while things are evolving. We are growing, and not every process will stay exactly the same. Successful people here can execute within a structure while helping us identify what needs to improve.

They take ownership. They don’t need someone constantly checking whether the work is getting done. They communicate, follow through, solve problems, and take responsibility for their results.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of demonstrated success in in-home, B2C, high-ticket, or consultative sales preferred
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to read the room and adapt your approach
  • Confidence discussing significant purchasing decisions without relying on high-pressure tactics
  • A professional, trustworthy presence in a customer’s home
  • Competitive drive balanced with a team-first mentality
  • Strong follow-through and personal accountability
  • Comfort working in a growing environment where processes and systems will continue to improve
  • Willingness to learn, receive coaching, and execute a defined sales process
  • Genuine alignment with our values of community, integrity, and team
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Competitive backgrounds translate well here. Experience in roofing, solar, HVAC, windows, pest control, home security, automotive, real estate, or other high-performance sales environments can be valuable—but industry experience is not required.

No Roofing Experience Required

We’ll train you on our products, services, assessment process, and technical knowledge.

What’s harder to teach is drive, curiosity, resilience, coachability, and the ability to earn someone’s trust.

Bring those, and we’ll teach you the rest.
