Job description

Do you have a caring heart and desire to make a difference? If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply as we have Part-Time and PRN (as needed) Direct Support Professional (DSP) positions available with required rotating weekends in our residential group homes in the Hillsville and Woodlawn, VA area.

DUTIES OF POSITION:
Direct Support Professionals will assist individuals with domestic tasks such as laundry, cleaning, meal planning, cooking, and organizing. DSP's will also help individuals enrich their own lives through exploring volunteer opportunities, support personal care needs, providing transportation and any needed advocacy for medical/dental appointments, and assisting with medication administration. Successful candidates are detail oriented and able keep accurate notes to ensure continuity of quality care.

Hiring is dependent on references, an active driver's license with a good driving record, and an acceptable criminal background check.
