Role Description


This is a full-time, on-site role for a Safety Professional based in the Reno/Sparks Area. The Safety Professional will be responsible for implementing and maintaining health and safety programs, conducting safety trainings, investigating workplace accidents, and ensuring compliance with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) regulations. Additionally, the role involves supporting the development of proactive safety strategies to mitigate risks and improve workplace safety culture.


Qualifications


  • Strong knowledge and experience in Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment Health and Safety (EHS)
  • Proficiency in Safety Training, including the ability to create and deliver effective safety training programs
  • Proven experience in Accident Investigation processes, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance standards and workplace safety best practices
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, CSP, or CHST) are an asset
