• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to inform individualized therapy strategies.
• Develop and implement therapeutic interventions for diverse populations, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Provide group, couple, and family counseling sessions, ensuring that all services are evidence-based and tailored to client needs.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, social workers, and medical professionals to provide holistic care to clients.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training focused on the latest advancements in mental health treatment.

Your clients will primarily consist of individuals and families who have limited access to mental health care, reflecting a variety of backgrounds and experiences. The services you provide will address an array of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relational difficulties. Your role will directly impact the lives of those who may otherwise face obstacles in accessing essential services.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of experience in counseling, ideally within a clinical or community setting.
• Proven ability to establish rapport and build relationships with diverse clientele, showcasing excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using EMR software and technology to manage client care and documentation efficiently.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills, particularly in a healthcare environment.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
• Experience working within community health clinics or with underserved populations preferred.
• Understanding of community resources and supplemental services that can assist clients in their recovery journey.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
