Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team at Greene Counseling Center. This full-time remote position allows you to provide critical mental health support to individuals and families while managing your schedule to promote work-life balance. Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing counselors to operate from their preferred environment while still engaging with clients through virtual sessions. You will have access to state-of-the-art electronic medical records (EMR) systems to aid in maintaining accurate client information and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized therapy plans for clients based on individualized needs.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to address a range of mental health challenges.
  • Manage a caseload effectively, providing individual and group therapy sessions while ensuring all documentation and clinical records are kept current and in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care, including participating in meetings to discuss client progress and treatment adjustments.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and seminars to stay current with advancements in mental health practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPC at Greene Counseling Center, you will primarily work with adults and families dealing with diverse mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship concerns. We focus on providing services to individuals who have limited access to traditional mental health care resources, ensuring they receive the attention and support they deserve.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or closely related fields.
  • An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) within the state of Tennessee.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, preferably with direct client engagement.
  • A strong understanding of ethical and legal standards governing clinical practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with a diverse clientele.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team environment.
  • Proficiency in EMR software and familiarity with telehealth technologies.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use therapy is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with underserved populations is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and client caseload.
