Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct client assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy strategies tailored to meet their unique needs.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic techniques to a diverse patient population, including individuals, groups, couples, and families.
  • Employ various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements in mental health practice.
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care and improve patient outcomes.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training, staying informed about the latest trends and research in mental health.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Greene Counseling Center, you will primarily work with clients from various backgrounds, many of whom face obstacles in accessing mental health care. Our focus includes treating a wide array of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics. Your role will directly influence our clients' journeys toward emotional well-being and personal development.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely-related field.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in counseling, preferably within a clinical setting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Proficiency in conducting remote therapy sessions and familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience or specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma recovery is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of technology platforms that facilitate remote therapy sessions.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, depending on experience and caseload.
