Job description

Professional Civil Engineer


Job Overview

Seeking a professional civil engineer to join our team at Aurora Civil Engineering, Inc. in the Brandon/Tampa, Florida area. The candidate must be able to work with clients and municipal permitting agencies to design private and public land development projects ranging from small parking lots to large commercial projects and warehouses.


Duties

  • Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to design engineering plans for land development, grading, drainage, utility and roadway layouts
  • Work in-person in Brandon office Monday-Friday
  • Occasionally visit local job sites for meetings/inspections


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
  • Professional Engineer licensed in Florida with 8+ years of experience in project design and management
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and ICPR programs
  • Understanding of municipal codes, regulations and permitting requirements for construction documents
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to access and navigate construction sites
  • Valid Driver's License
