Job description

Position Summary: Industrial Design is looking for a licensed Civil Professional Engineer. Preferred licensing in Arizona, New Mexico, Oregon, California, and Missouri.

Our Architectural/Engineering Firm primarily serves the Semiconductor industry locally in the Chandler Arizona area, though we do work nationally on a variety of industrial projects with varying degree of complexity. Our projects are typically support facilities on existing sites with industrial and commercial applications. We currently offer services in architectural, structural, mechanical, process piping, chemical, electrical, I&C, telecom and looking to expand out services to include civil engineering.

We are looking to fill the roles of Professional Engineering positions (PE - Arizona, required) (PE โ€“ NM, OR, CA, MO states, highly preferred) in support of our growing business. The candidate who is hired would provide Engineering services related to various phases of design projects including: development of preliminary grading and drainage design, utility design, water flow calculations, rainfall and retention calculations, creation of civil plans / G&D / Site/Grade Sections / Utility Plans / details/. Services would include QAQC, blue top grade verification, field reports and field observations. This position is 85% desk and 15% field work in industrial environment.

Civil Engineer, under general supervision, performs advanced responsible professional engineering work. Employees in this class perform a full range of professional engineering tasks. In addition, a Civil Engineer directs and reviews the work performed by lower-level professional and paraprofessional engineers, drafters, technicians, inspectors, surveyors, etc. Assignments are broad in scope and require the use of independent judgment and initiative in making technical decisions of considerable difficulty.

Minimum Qualifications Required. Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer.

Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer in the state of Arizona is required and licensed in Missouri within six months of hire.

Preferred/Desirable Qualifications. Six years of supervisory experience preferred.
