Position Summary
The position of Senior Business Development Manager (BD Manager) is responsible for achieving the assigned sales objectives and departmental KPI’s and growing revenue backlog through the sale of new gas turbine equipment and turnkey EPC projects. The BD Manager's most important means of interacting with customers and prospects is through face-to-face meetings. .

Position Responsibilities
  • Traveling to engage client meetings on an as needed basis to introduce PROENERGY, our solutions, and progress inquiries.
  • Proactively originate and develop leads and opportunities aligned with PROENERGY’s products and service offerings.
  • Lead the qualification of project opportunities generated by Marketing by engaging directly with clients to assess their legitimacy, needs, and align them with PROENERGY’s capabilities.
  • Own and actively manage a sales funnel, ensuring opportunities are accurately tracked and kept current across business systems (including CRM), and provide timely, structured reporting to senior leadership as required.
  • Sells “PROENERGY” as a complete Energy Generation Services Provider.
  • Develop and maintain deep expertise in PROENERGY’s manufactured equipment, EPC solutions, and contracted power offerings, enabling independent, comprehensive customer presentations with minimal reliance on extended business teams.
  • Lead or support the full sales lifecycle, including solution development, proposal preparation and delivery, and contract negotiation and execution, as required or directed.
  • Maintain a high level of professional availability consistent with an in-office environment while working remotely, including responsiveness during standard business hours, active participation in daily video conferences, and consistent engagement with team members when not traveling.
  • Refers opportunities for growth in products and services to other company sales and business resources, as appropriate.
  • Assist other sales and services resources when called upon by the Senior Management.
Required Qualifications
  • 50% travel required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration or comparable Industry experience.
  • Minimum of 10+ years Business Development amp; Sales experience in the power industry.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite programs, including understanding software, hardware, networks, etc.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and coachability by embracing established internal business processes and operating within defined frameworks, with a willingness to adopt standardized approaches and continuously improve ways of working.
  • Effective and dynamic communicator, capable of delivering presentations to large senior commercial and technical audiences.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
  • Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Desired Qualifications
  • Demonstrated track record of achievement in positions with significant accountability within the power industry and preferably with gas turbines.
  • Excellent technical, conceptual, and financial skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical one-lines, logic drawings, and technical manuals.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions percentages area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry, thermodynamics, chemistry, and electricity.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
