Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Production Associate and play a vital role in creating high-quality products in a fast-paced environment. This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency and safety at every step. As a key member of our company, you will utilize your knowledge and hands-on skills to support production goals and maintain smooth operations within our manufacturing facility.

Position Summary

The Production / Batch Worker is responsible for accurately manufacturing, batching, packaging, and labeling herbal products in accordance with Cheryl's Herbs' quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role ensures all production activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with cGMP, USDA Organic, and Kosher certification guidelines.

Key Responsibilities Production & Batching

  • Prepare and manufacture herbal products according to approved batch records and formulas.

  • Accurately weigh, measure, and record ingredients.

  • Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Complete batch documentation accurately and in real time.

  • Maintain production schedules to meet customer and inventory demands.

Packaging & Labeling

  • Package finished products according to specifications.

  • Verify labels, lot numbers, and expiration dates for accuracy.

  • Inspect finished goods for quality and consistency.

  • Prepare products for storage or shipment.

Quality & Compliance

  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Adhere to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

  • Maintain compliance with USDA Organic handling requirements.

  • Follow Kosher production and segregation procedures.

  • Participate in audits, inspections, and corrective actions as required.

  • Report quality concerns, deviations, or non-conformances immediately.

Sanitation & Safety

  • Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas according to established procedures.

  • Follow workplace safety requirements and use appropriate PPE.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready production environment.

Inventory & Materials Handling

  • Receive, stage, and verify raw materials.

  • Rotate inventory using FIFO procedures.

  • Assist with inventory counts and material reconciliation.

  • Report inventory discrepancies promptly.

  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and resolve any operational issues promptly

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the manufacturing area to promote a safe working environment

Experience

  • Prior manufacturing facility, Bartender or Coffee Barista experience is highly preferred

  • Hands-on experience with hand tools, and power tools is advantageous

  • Familiarity with procedures and inventory management is beneficial

  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot recipes

  • Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in a team setting
