Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Dover is seeking a full-time Production Supervisor who typically will work 7 AM - 3:30 PM weekdays but must be available 6 AM - 5:30 PM weekdays and available to work an occasional Saturday morning.

We have a clean, climate-controlled environment.

Job Location:

We're located southwest of downtown Dover which is the largest city in the New Hampshire Seacoast region, the oldest permanent settlement in New Hampshire, and the seventh oldest in the U.S.A. We're less than seven miles from the main campus of UNH, and another fun fact is that Dover even is the birthplace of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise.

What you will be doing:

  • Oversee daily production operations, including hiring, training, performance management, goal setting, and disciplinary actions
  • Coach and develop operators to foster a positive work environment and support employee retention
  • Enforce company policies and procedures and ensure operators are properly trained and compliant
  • Ensure adherence to all safety policies for employees and visitors within assigned areas
  • Analyze ERP data, production schedules, and planning information to execute production requirements
  • Establish staffing levels, work schedules, and job assignments to meet operational needs
  • Communicate customer feedback through the Customer Experience team and direct customer interactions
  • Report schedule or quantity variances to the Customer Experience team in a timely manner
  • Manage timekeeping in the ERP system and approve payroll hours
  • Manage time off approvals and coordinate coverage in assigned areas
  • Collaborate with site leadership and support teams on new product introductions, process integration, and productivity standards
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives
  • Conduct root cause analyses using CAs and NCRs and drive corrective actions with operators and technical teams
  • Serve as backup for Team Leads, Production Manager, and Production Coordinator as needed
  • Maintain a site-wide perspective, proactively supporting overall site needs, including facility operations, visitor and service provider coordination, and incident response
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

What you will bring along:

  • Associate's degree in Management, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience (3+ years in manufacturing management)
  • Previous supervisory or peoplemanagement experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing operational needs
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, problemsolving, and computer skills
  • Familiarity with Lean, Lean-Sigma, or Six Sigma manufacturing principles and methodologies preferred

Pay Range: $60,000-$70,000 annually.
