Job description

  • Lead the development of short-medium and long-term production plans aligned with customer demand and business objectives.
  • Oversee master production scheduling and ensure production plans are achievable based on capacity, materials, labor, and equipment availability.
  • Establish planning processes that effectively balance demand, capacity, inventory, service levels, and manufacturing costs.
  • Identify capacity constraints and develop mitigation plans to address bottlenecks, resource limitations and changing demand.
  • Ensure production schedules are optimized to maximize throughput, minimize downtime, and improve on-time delivery.
  • Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing supply chain team.
  • Prepare and manage department budgets and support strategic planning initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, or Engineering
  • Minimum 12+ years of progressive supply chain experience
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, inventory management, demand planning and supplier management.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle) and advanced planning software.
  • Proven success managing cross-functional teams and complex supply chain operations.
  • Strong analytical, financial, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communications, leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Comfortable initiating productive discussions in a conflict-adverse environment
