Job Summary

The primary responsibility of the Production Runner is to assist both the Thermoforming and Extrusion departments in maintaining organization on the production floor, filling roll stock, production supplies and assisting Operators as needed.


Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Create accurate labels for bags and rolls in production.
  • Move bags of rejected product to designated areas including but not limited to purge material, trim, contaminated product, floor sweepings, regrind, etc.
  • Stock rolls by thermoforming lines based on items being produced and maintaining the maximum number of rolls needed depending on target quantities being produced.
  • Keep Roll inventory organized.
  • Re-wrap rolls as needed.
  • Move packing materials and supplies from the warehouse to proper production line in Thermoforming and Extrusion.
  • Dispose of production waste bins.
  • Cross train with packers, material handlers and grinders to cover as needed.
  • Work closely with the warehouse to ensure materials are properly pull and returned.
  • Accurately fill out internal routing documentation and return to appropriate department.
  • Escalate complex issues to supervisor for resolution.
  • Adhere to company standards and production policies to meet company objectives.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma
  • Minimum 1-years forklift experience
  • Prolonged periods sitting on a forklift
  • Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and walking from one end of the building to the other.
  • Able to walk a minimum of 5,000 steps per day.
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at times.
