THE JOB -
US Concerts is seeking a Production Runner, responsible for various 'errands' and tasks associated with the talent and production of shows. Confidentiality is very critical to this role.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
  • Production runner for the Nashville market
  • Provide transportation for touring and venue personnel throughout the show day, such as hotel & airport pickups and drop-offs.
  • Run errands such as laundry, grocery shopping, package delivery, equipment rentals, coffee runs, etc.
  • Coordinate large take-out orders with local restaurants, purchasing, retrieving and distributing to tour personnel.
  • Coordinate large shopping lists from local grocery stores and deliver to the venue
  • Assist touring, venue & production staff with general production-related duties.
  • Maintain cash & receipts.
  • Provide local area information to touring staff
  • Assist the Production Manager and Production Coordinator with other tasks that arise throughout the day

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Required:
  • 21 years or older
  • Valid driver's license & good driving record
  • Safe driving habits are a must, motor vehicle report will be obtained annually
  • Punctual - Early is on time
  • Operational cell phone with ability to download WhatsApp & maps
  • Friendly & personable, works well with others but also able to work independently, team player and customer service oriented attitude is a must
  • Must be highly flexible and can work long hours (typical show day runs about 14 -16 hours)
  • Knowledge of Nashville and the surrounding areas, including restaurants and local stores
  • Ability to drive larger vehicles such as 15 Passenger vans or large SUVs
  • Strong attention to detail and possess problem-solving abilities
  • Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining pleasant & professional
  • Must be reliable, extremely responsible and have a positive attitude
  • Must show complete discretion about work
  • Background check required

Preferred:
  • 3 years work experience interacting with people in a positive environment
  • Experience in a live music environment or comparable role

Physical Demands/Working Environment:
  • Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressful
  • Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet both indoors or outdoors
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 40 lbs using proper lifting techniques
  • Intensely physical environment
