Job description

Almac Group is currently seeking a Production Operative for our Durham, North Carolina location. The Production Operative will perform assigned functions relevant to the packaging
area ensuring that quality is maintained in products for the safety, well-being, and protection of the patient. The Production Operative will be required to perform assigned functions within Secondary Packaging Rooms (no exposed product), ambient room conditions and within refrigerated (2-8°C) and frozen (-20°C) conditions supporting cold chain material,
relevant to packaging, labelling, and assembly activities when needed
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Package/Assemble/Label material as detailed in the batch document within secondary production rooms in ambient room conditions, refrigerated (2-8°C), and frozen (-20°C) conditions as required by individual operations, while in accordance to SOP's and cGMP's
  • Perform and ensure that thorough, routine cleaning of packaging
    rooms is performed according to appropriate
    Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and current Good
    Manufacturing Practices (cGMP's).

Qualifications:
Required Experience / Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of work experience.

Preferred Experience / Education:
  • Experience within pharmaceutical or similar environment.
