Job description

REAL ALLOY Production Manager

Our Production Manager works to

provide direct support to the Plant Manager by overseeing daily production operations, while directly supervising production supervisors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing performance.

The Production Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this facility production operations, and carries out supervisory responsibilities with several direct reports.

  • Oversee daily production operations for the Rotary Furnaces and Deox Casting Line.
  • Prepare daily profit and loss reports for each rotary run.
  • Plan production schedules and set priorities to meet customer needs and operational goals.
  • Adjust production plans based on equipment issues, operating conditions, and demand.
  • Review production, quality, maintenance, and operating reports to resolve issues.
  • Use lab data to adjust furnace operations and raw material blends to meet specifications.
  • Verify inventories of raw materials, finished goods, and production supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and participate in audits and safety initiatives.
  • Assist with recruiting by interviewing job applicants.
  • Maintain production records and verify production data for accuracy.
