Job description

Dynamic Manufacturing is hiring a Manufacturing Production Assistant to join our growing team. The Manufactruing Production Assistant will assist in the production operations of the machine shop.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Material Handling
  • Change Chip Bins
  • Wash Parts
  • Maintain Coolants in Machines
  • Follow instructions when given a project and take notes for personal growth.
  • Check in salvage work and move to their respective workstations
  • Remove finished work and move to their next process
  • Assist team leader
  • Record production daily
  • Identify and isolate non-conforming products
  • Properly and safely Load / Unload Machine
  • Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized
  • Assist as needed


QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Obtain and maintain forklift certification
  • Operate forklift safely
  • The ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential.
  • Problem Sensitivity -- The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
  • Approaches others in a tactful/respectful manner
  • React well under pressure.
  • Follows through on commitments.
  • Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
  • Capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 30 pounds 
  • Ability to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms 8 hours or more
  • Willing and able to work overtime and as required
  • Willing to work any shift as necessary
  • Communicate and understand work instructions both verbally and written in English
  • Strong work ethic / Positive attitude / Self-motivated
