JOB SUMMARY:This position is responsible for the washing and refurbishing of packaging materials used in the pack out stage of the chemical production process.

EDUCATION:

Required:High school diploma or GED

EXPERIENCE:

Required:1 year experience in an industrial environment

Preferred:1+ years in a chemical production environment

POSITION REQUIREMENT(S): Specialized Skills/License/Certification

Required:

  • Unrestricted employment authorization to work in the US
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Project a professional appearance with the ability to represent our company in a positive manner to our customers and associates
  • Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
  • Ability to organize and maintain a safe and clean work environment

CORE COMPETENCIES (Essential Job Functions)

  • Wear mandatory PPE at all times.
  • Load and unload material from trailers using a forklift and/or pallet jack.
  • Maintain the organization of the back dock as it relates to inbound packaging items.
  • Operate small hand tools used to refurbish totes.
  • Operate tote wash island in safe and efficient manner.
  • Operate drum wash station in safe and efficient manner.
  • Follow all chemical washout guidelines, making sure that incompatible chemicals NEVER enter the wastewater discharge system together.
  • Ensure that all packaging items are washed in a timely fashion making sure that the back dock does not overflow with inbound material.
  • Complete paperwork documenting output and submit to supervisor at end of every shift.
  • Complete other duties and special projects upon request.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7AM - 3:30PM
