Position Description:Partner with xPL fabrication facility ("plant") leadership and superintendents to execute safe, high-quality, and efficient production operations in alignment with plant goals and customer requirements. Lead daily production planning, workflow coordination, and team development for schedule adherence, maximize throughput, and establish zero-incident culture. Serve as key resource to engage teams to deliver consistent, reliable, and on-time fabrication output.
Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, direct, and manage daily production activities of fabrication superintendents and instill adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
  • Plan and coordinate manpower, equipment, and material resources to meet established production schedules and optimize workflow.
  • Drive proactive safety engagement in partnership with Safety team, including daily toolbox talks, hazard assessments, and incident prevention activities.
  • Collaborate with xPL Quality Control (QC) team to maintain first-pass quality and prevent rework, validating production meets specifications and customer requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze production performance metrics, including throughput, cycle time, downtime, and resource utilization; implement corrective actions to support performance.
  • Deliver and maintain communication with plant leadership to align short-term production needs with long-term capacity planning and capital investment strategies.
  • Support Superintendent team development through coaching, training, and performance management; foster culture of accountability and teamwork.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, and Maintenance teams to resolve production constraints and maintain operational flow.
  • Oversee clean and organized production areas for compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in workflow efficiency, equipment utilization, and process standardization.
  • Facilitate pre-shift planning meetings with superintendents to review daily objectives, safety priorities, and quality expectations.
  • Participate in budget planning and cost control efforts related to production operations.
  • Support onboarding and training of new employees to ensure skill readiness and adherence to company standards.
  • Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or related field of study with minimum 7 years of experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or construction production, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • In-depth understanding of fabrication processes, production planning, and resource management
  • Leadership and supervisory skills with ability to motivate and develop teams in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment
  • Working knowledge of safety regulations, quality control principles, and lean manufacturing methodologies
  • Able to interpret production data and generate actionable insights
  • Ability to hold confidential discussions, influence leadership decision-making, determine direction, and prioritize responsibilities
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and address challenges, risks, and opportunities
  • Advanced project management skills, highly organized, and able to manageconcurrentcomplex projects and tasks successfully to completion for self and others
  • Ability to leverage interpersonal, leadership, and teamwork skills to build professional relationships
  • Supervisory and management experience, able to observe performance and provide timely feedback
  • Proficient computer skills, database application skills, Microsoft Office suite of applications, and production management systems
