Job description

Job Title: Expeditor
Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548
Duration: 06 months contract with potential Extension
Pay: $19.15 /hr. on W2
Citizenship Requirement: US Citizens
Shift: 1st Shift Mon-Thur 6:30 AM 3:30 PM
Position Description:
Release program work packages and work orders which initiate the procurement fabrication build repair test and delivery of state-of-the-art material systems and products.
Monitor and report status and delivery of assemblies for Program Planner and Production use.
Contact Program Material Planner and Production Supervisor for priorities and issues.
Coordinate with Program Planner and Production Supervisor for shop order releases to manufacturing for specific products and sales orders spares and repairs.
Move assemblies to appropriate work centers as required and perform ERP system updates and completions.
Interface with stockroom personnel, Program Planning, Production Supervisor, and personnel, as well as interdepartmental communications as required.
Daily priorities will be determined and communicated by Program Planner in conjunction with Production Supervisor.
Skills Required:
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Position requires ability to walk, stand, push materials and items on carts, as well as perform desk duties.
  • Microsoft 365 email, Excel spreadsheets, ability to learn ERP system database and enter accurate data.
  • Valid driver's license required and ability to drive company vehicle locally as required.
  • Ability to read, write, speak English.
  • 2 to 4 years in a working team environment.
  • Necessary duties can be taught with basic required skills already in place.
  • High School education required or equivalent GED.
