Job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

  • Produces components by assembling parts by:
    • removing supports from printed resin molds
    • final wash, deburr and ensure cleanliness of all resin molds
    • label and heat cure in UV resin molds
    • assembles components by examining connections for correct fit
  • Reads and deciphers assembly instructions.
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, tools, and materials.
  • Positions or aligns components and parts with hand tools or machines to assemble parts, examining connections for correct fit.
  • Conducts quality control checks.
  • Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools.
  • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, and troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Documents actions by completing production software and quality forms.
  • Strictly follows all personal protection equipment (PPE) requirements and safety procedures.

Secondary Duties

  • Back up to shop floor operations, as needed, by processing molds from heat curing to final acceptance
  • Provide feedback on processes and suggest ideas for improvement to meet or exceed KPIs for the department.
  • Assist with the rework of rejected parts, as needed
  • Assist in the preparation of packaging and shipping of parts to customer, as needed
  • Maintain training and understanding of EMS to ensure all materials are disposed of properly

EDUCATION:                     

HS Diploma/GED

EXPERIENCE:                 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:    

Ability to read and interpret documents such as drawings, setup sheets, safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Ability to communicate in English (read, write and speak) effectively between employees of the organization, as well as understand processes and procedures related to the job functions and overall safety of the employees of the organization.  Ability to write and/or compile routine reports and correspondence in English

MATH SKILLS:                

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.  Ability to perform these operations using standard units of length, area, volume and weight measurements. Ability to convert metric to standard units of measure and vice versa.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS:     To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the following:

  • Basic knowledge of windows PC including MS Office Suite of products
  • .decimal software: MX setup, Tracking, .d Wiki, google forms including but not limited to WO scheduling sheet, time log, scrap log, broken tool log, maintenance WO log etc.
