Position's Department: Operations
Position Reports To: Supervisor, Operations
Shift Timing: 7AM-3:30PM with a potential to shuffle to 12PM-8:30PM
Wage: CAD $ 18.00 per hour
SCOPE:
The Production Team Member will be responsible for working on the production line of Fresh Hemp Foods Ltd. This individual will be responsible for the operation of equipment for the manufacture of various products and will ensure all work performed adheres to all organizational standards as well as safety regulations and guidelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Operate and attend to manual and automated equipment in the production process operation
Disassembles, cleans, sanitizes and reassembles various pieces of equipment as required for sanitation process
Ensures materials and supplies are staged prior to the beginning of the shift.
Keeps work area clean and performs general housekeeping as required.
Performs product quality checks as per procedures.
Performs minor or daily equipment maintenance.
Maintains all necessary documentation associated with tasks performed.
Perform all functions as designated by SOPs while operating specified equipment.
Understand and review the product through specified production process, recognizing areas of defect and taking appropriate actions to rectify them.
Conduct all work to organizational standards to ensure final product meets quality standards.
Complies with all Safety and Food Quality policies and procedures.
Disassembles, cleans, sanitizes and reassembles various pieces of equipment as required for sanitation process.
Keeps work area clean and performs general housekeeping as required.

Minimum 1 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience in processing and machine operation or food sanitation experience.
Mechanically inclined
Knowledge PLC controlled equipment and asset
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
Reading, writing and speaking English
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Standing/Walking for extended period of time
Exposure to hazards associated with the industry/trade
Use of required personal protective equipment
Operation and use of necessary tools, machinery, or equipment
Interacts with team members and management
Handling heavy loads (up to 50 lbs.)
