Job Description
The Integration Working Foreman provides direct supervision and technical leadership for electrical and mechanical integration personnel. The Working Foreman is responsible for workforce planning, daily execution of work packages, quality compliance, safety performance, customer interaction, employee development, schedule attainment, and successful project completion while maintaining hands-on technical capability.
Responsibilities
* Lead and direct electrical and mechanical integration teams.
* Plan daily work assignments and manpower utilization.
* Ensure compliance with all company, customer, OSHA, NAVSEA, and contractual requirements.
* Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Production Control, and Program Management.
* Monitor schedule performance and execute recovery plans when required.
* Conduct daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
* Verify technicians are utilizing current revisions of technical documentation.
* Serve as primary technical resource for electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
* Review and approve completed work prior to quality inspection.
* Mentor and develop Integrators, Specialists, and future supervisors.
* Manage labor charging, productivity tracking, and workforce accountability.
* Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
* Support customer demonstrations, inspections, and witness testing.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Job Requirements
* High School Diploma or Equivalent.
* 10-15 years of integration, electrical, mechanical, shipboard, industrial, or defense manufacturing experience.
* Minimum 3 years leading technicians or production teams.
* Demonstrated capability supervising multi-discipline integration projects.
* Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical technical documentation.
* Experience with quality systems, inspections, and corrective actions.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and production tracking systems.
