Position Summary

TDP Bakery is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to support customer invoicing operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing and distribution environment. This role focuses on high-volume customer billing for bakery and wholesale accounts and works closely with logistics, sales, distribution, and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and process customer invoices daily across multiple locations for accuracy and compliance
  • Support billing operations related to bakery production, wholesale distribution, and customer shipments
  • Partner with logistics, sales, distribution, and internal departments to research and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Verify pricing, shipment information, credits, deductions, and supporting documentation
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure invoicing processes align with company standards and customer requirements
  • Assist with month-end billing activities and reporting
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information
  • Perform additional duties assigned by leadership
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of billing experience required
  • Experience in food manufacturing, wholesale distribution, transportation, logistics, or other high-volume operational billing environments strongly preferred
  • Associate degree or higher preferred
  • Experience working in a multi-location or high-volume environment preferred
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required; Excel proficiency preferred
  • Experience with Sage 100, Acumatica, batch accounting, or ERP systems is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially
Work Environment / Hours
  • In-office position located in Chandler, AZ
  • Monday–Friday schedule
  • Standard 40-hour work week
  • Periodic overtime may be required during month-end close
  • Business casual dress code Monday–Thursday; casual Fridays
