Edit Holdings LLC dba Tide Cleaners is seeking hardworking, team-oriented, and reliable individuals to join our wedding preservation production team. This position does not require any prior experience within the dry-cleaning industry but does require a commitment to learn and work within a team atmosphere.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate company core values at all times: Guest Services, Excellence, Committed, Integrity, and Top Quality.
  • Repair tears, apply buttons and beads to wedding gowns, trains, and veils.
  • Work on fine fabrics, laces and intricate beading
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized work area at all times.
  • Be able to operate all productions areas: assembly, boxing wedding dresses, label and shipping.
  • Know the basics of pressing and be able to adapt to the challenges of properly finishing new and seasonal fashion styles and fabrics.
  • Accurately but efficiently iron and press clean articles by hand or by machine steam and vacuum.
  • Learn the basic operations of the pressing station(s) they will operate, and the particulars of the items commonly pressed at that station.
  • Waterproof garments and apply other finishes (stain guard, wrinkle release, etc.).
  • Ensure that pressing equipment is working properly and well maintained.
  • Ability to follow set procedures and work with little supervision.
  • Ability to read care labels, distinguish fabrics by touch, and distinguish colors and odors (i.e. chemicals/solvents).
  • General housekeeping to support a benchmark store appearance.
  • Ability to lift between 25 - 50 lbs., bend and reach overhead to place garments on rails, grasp, handle, and manipulate objects of various size. Must be able to move from various work situations to distribute garments.
  • Ability to work in hot/humid environment.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Shift and Schedule

  • Full-time (30-40 hours weekly)
  • 8-hour shift
  • Weekends as needed.
