Production Associate

Katy Spring & Mfg., Inc. is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on production position working with smaller metal parts and springs to complete a variety of finishing and secondary operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of production operations including bending, trimming, hand-winding, punch press work, and pre-setting
  • Use hand tools, fixtures, presses, and other production equipment safely
  • Inspect parts for proper bends, hooks, welds, dimensions, and overall quality
  • Use basic measuring and inspection tools
  • Follow job travelers, work instructions, and customer specifications
  • Count parts accurately and complete required production reporting
  • Identify quality issues and notify the supervisor or Quality team when needed
  • Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
