Job description

Essential Functions

  • Build products from existing ideas and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects.
  • Must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy with a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality
  • Must be able to communicate with all areas of the company:
    • Engineering as a counterpart to define product release requirements
    • Marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer
    • Serve as the internal and external promoter for your product offering, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers

Duties and Responsibilities

Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth

  • Managing new product development from strategic planning to market entry
  • Handling warranty issues with our product internally and externally
  • Provide technical assistance to both customer and sales department
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
  • Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product
  • Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by ongoing visits to customers and non-customers
  • Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on the company
  • Develop sales tools, i.e., presentations, application notes, demo CDs, technical documentation, and competitive analyses to assist the sales force
  • Provide input for literature and advertisements
  • Participate in trade shows
  • Other duties as assigned
